also in last season's fashion east show, salonen is on course for great things. of the three this season, salonen's collection was the grungy dirty one. rough edge hessian tops printed with black graffitti and teamed with chopped trousers, shirts and cropped tops. playing with the classics and reinventing them has been salonen's signature departure point now for 3 seasons. edgy masculine tailoring has moved from old school to gothic matrix to nineties grunge. i, for one, cannot wait to see where he goes next.
