the installations, centered around the notion that "matter cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed", is currently in one of the selfridges windows. bean constructed the five installations live in the windows. in examining the law of conservation of energy the works comprise objects in their original form balanced with their components on a set of giant, albeit fake, scales.
