hooray!!! for me, this is the best part of fashion week. lulu kennedy's baby, fashion east provides an invaluable platform of support for emerging young designers and the likes of gareth pugh, marios schwab and michael van der ham are testament to the success of this initiative. every season the chosen designers produce a truly original, eclectic and undoubtedly talented show. however, this year the bar has unquestionably been risen with all three designers surpassing expectations.
