feminine sportswear was the agenda for the second season of alessandro dell'acqua's label no21. emphasis nowadays being on day wear as opposed to his first label's glamourous evening wear. no.21 wouldn't have looked out of place on the new york catwalks with its fresh, pared-down approach but he has not forsaken the luxury and lingerie he has become renowned for. louche fabrics, simple embellishments and a little exotic print all played their part but interestingly it was actually the simplest of creations where he really succeeded.
